Heavy Goff - (scot's slang - a visibly strong proponent of the dark half)
The perfect after dinner coffee, lower in caffeine than all of our other blends but sacrificing nothing in flavour and intensity.
A darker take on our most popular roast. Heavy Goff is similar to the blend of Arabica that make our Fruitmarket so moreish taken to new depths of flavour. The same creamy salted caramel flavours with a darker chocolate finish. The quintessential after dinner roast for those of us who are strong with Satan.
Roast Level: Dark
Nose: Leather, tobacco
Flavours: Dark Ttreacle, Irish stout, tea
Finish: Bitter but not lingering
Mouthfeel: Intense, full bodied, drying
Process: A blend of Washed and Natural Arabicas
Pair with: Makes a great tall black to start the day as well as an ideal espresso after a big meal or sacrifice.
Heavy Goff -Darkest Roast
Once ground we recommend you seal the bag and keep it in the freezer. Coffee can be made from frozen and more flavour will be kept if you store it this way.
